Oh, yeah, I did want to mention the WORST part of the whole deal:  twisting
SCSI cables.

My hard disks, of course, can be oriented right side up, or upside down.
However, my CD-ROM drive and my tape drive have a definite "up" position --
and they each have pin1 of the SCSI connector on a different end! *grumble*
It was enough to make me understand why people go with external units ;).
