I'm using both, and they don't work reliably *at all*.  I can get them
to work sometime, but not all the time.  This is with Swing-0.6.1, not
the newest release which has many bugs fixed but many new bugs with
resizing stuff, so we're avoiding that release.

I don't follow?  Are you creating your own JDK1.1.5 port on your own?
