Well, I should have learned my lesson, but I didn't. I
had a seemingly stable running kernel which was using code from
CVS (using RELENG_4) from around Wed Dec 18 16:01:04 CST 2002
until just a couple of days ago when I still hadn't seen the
sporadic crashes which I'd been seeing.

SO, I figured that whatever was wrong with versions prior
to that had been fixed and I decided to update to the latest
STABLE again, just for the hell of it. BIG MISTAKE. :(

So, I was running STABLE from around Tue Feb 4 10:46:08
CST 2003 for just about two days (1d21h12m2s to be exact) and
oops, it crashed. Here's all the info:

Now, as I've stated before, this has been happening on
this machine periodically over the past several months. I have
absolutely no idea why, and I don't know if it was just a fluke
that it stayed up since December on a slightly older code base.
I'm not sure if this is FXP related, or UFS + soft-updates
related, or maybe even NFS related, since that is most of what
this machine does. I have no idea. Does anyone else have any
ideas?
