Folks - I just swapped out a working 8mm for a 4mm drive and I haven't been able to write to it. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing .. Here's the info on the SCSI controller/drive from dmesg: ahc0 <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI host adapter> rev 0 int a irq 11 on pci0:20:0 mapreg[10] type=1 addr=00006100 size=0100. mapreg[14] type=0 addr=e1805000 size=1000. reg20: virtual=0xf5d62000 physical=0xe1805000 size=0x1000 (ahc0:2:0): "HP HP35480A 1009" type 1 removable SCSI 2 st0(ahc0:2:0): Sequential-Access density code 0x13, drive empty When I try to access it: (toot)~ ->mt status st0: not ready mt: /dev/nrst0: Device busy In messages: st0(ahc0:2:0): NOT READY asc:4,2 st0(ahc0:2:0): Logical unit not ready, initializing command required System is 2.2.8/i200/128MB.
