I am trying to get Vmware 2.0.4 running full sceen on my Omnibook 500. The moment vmware tries to go full screen, it dumps core and the X screen is left almost black. When you run the dga test command afterwards and quits it, then the screen is back to normal again. I am using XFree 4.2.0, dga is enabled and works fine with e.g. mplayer -vo dga The Xserver recognizes the omnibooks chipset fne: (II) ATI: Candidate "Device" section "ATI Rage Mobility P/M AGP 2x". (II) ATI: Shared PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 1:0:0 detected. (II) ATI: Shared PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 1:0:0 assigned to active "Device" secti on "ATI Rage Mobility P/M AGP 2x". I have the following modules enabled: ddc GLcore dbe dri extmod glx pex5 record bitmap freetype speedo type1 vbe int10 When vmware starts, it first goes to fulle screen mode to test if that would work, and it seems to work at that point (no complaint about non-working dga or so). Did I omit something? -Guido To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-emulation" in the body of the message
