Hi,

my machine is an amd5x86 with 32MB RAM and 1,2 GB Harddisk. I produced a =
300MB partition for freebsd release 3.2 [ftp download].

a) When I try to install the stuff I end up with

MAKEDEV returned non-zero status

What can one do?

b) While installing bin dist one can watch somehundredthousands bytes of =
junk beeing skipped on virtual terminal 2.

Does that matter?

c) I have got about 200MB for my /usr partition. Installing ports dist =
ends up in

/mnt/usr: create/symlink failed, no inodes free

d) Trying to do something on virtual terminal 4 often ends up in a

segmentation fault

In case all this cannot be fixed by one simple trick , I would be happy, =
if Iknew a nice book, manual, online-doc or something like that, where I =
could find out myself. Which reminds me of

e) of course=20

man <xxx>

does not work [-> d)].

Thanx a lot. Uli.
