can you say ALOHA?

i'm starting to pick up again on the initial fragments of code i wrote
to start on an AX.25 driver...  many of the same problems...

AX.25 is a half-duplex X.25 protocol used in amateur radio and military
[through a very similar variant].  I might be able to get some more
insights on this and have forcast a need for a driver such as this
[i'm thinking about buying one of those new minituare toshiba book
size computers, all they have is an ir port and pcmcia slots].
