Oh, no, that's not the way we do things here.  Completed, good patches
must fester^H^H^H^H^H^Hage in the PR database for at least six months.
They're like cheese, and must season.  (Unless, of course, Jim Mock
happens to be free and feels like taking care of them.)

I'll commit this when I can, but today it is *not* in my schedule.  :-(
If someone else feels like it, they should feel free.

Tom, however, should feel free to start generating patches on whatever
he works on next.  Since the latest version is in GNATS, his work is
immortalized for all time.  (So, what is the *longest* PR in the
database?  Is this one even close?)
