Hmm, about the same time as it takes on my 486/33. :-)

Though i've got 32 MB in the machine, so the interactive response
behaviour doesn't suffer from the background compilation.  It's only
that i'm getting nervous now since i wanna reboot and test a new
kernel. ;)
