Hi,

I've just installed a 3c905 100Mbps nic in my 2.1.7 system. it works,
but now it keeps showing this annoying message at the console:

vx0: strange connector type in EEPROM: 6
vx0: assuming AUI

How can I get rid of this ? Is this harmful ?

I'm thinking about getting 2.2.1 source for sys/dev/vx/*, could
it work or are there much changes in the network physical layer
between these systems ?

  TIA,

					Jonny
