%This short notice is just to announce my resignation as President %of the FreeBSD Project, effective immediately, coinciding with the %elimination of that position. Jordan, I'm at odds as to whether or not this qualifies as news for the newsflash page. On one hand, it is a big deal in that it is a major change; however, it does not -directly- affect the software (although, there will no doubt be many indirect reprecussions of this.)
