Two reasons, while OS X (Er, macOS) is Unix based, the GUI that iTunes runs i=
n is much more than just a gnome-GUI and it would take massive efforts to po=
rt something like iTunes to FreeBSD.

Second, it=E2=80=99s an insignificantly small market since it only includes t=
hose very few people who run BSD and won=E2=80=99t use Windows or macOS.

There=E2=80=99s a lot more whinging for Linux support, and that=E2=80=99s li=
terally never going to happen since that would be much more effort for o my s=
lightly larger user base.
