IIUC, The current release engineering process was seen to be the best compro= mise given the level of resources available. Assuming nothing has changed, i= t might be wishful thinking hoping for a Linux-like LTS (which I also have s= ometimes wished for). On the other hand, it might be more pragmatic to take a CI approach and lear= n how to live with the release process. Is that possible? Cheers.=
