FreeBSD is an operating system which runs on computers similar or identical to those described as "IBM PC-compatible". As such it is software. This mailing list is a forum for asking/answering questions about this operating system. This is highly unlikely to be of interest to one self described as "not very computer literate". I don't mean to be overly dismissive, but I doubt what is said here will be of interest to you. How did you get on this list, anyway? Respectfully answered (I hope).
