Hi, one of my customers setup a ppp dialup to me with FreeBSD box and I can assign a dynamic IP address to his host. Most goes well except the followings: 1. At my customer site, how to manage the ppp dial, I mean, per 2 hour to dial once or dial when needed? When dialup connected, how to disconnect it automaticly if there is nothing transfering? My customer do set the timeout, but it seems not work, so he must kill the ppp process mannually. 2. I really can not assign him a static IP, but he really need his own email address or domain name. How can I do this? Is this possible? Best regaurds! --xiyuan
