We have FreeBSD-2.1.5 with configured user-ppp as server ( as client's shell ppp -direct <label> ). Client on Win95 is connected to FreeBSD box using modem for leased line. Connection stays long and clear, but when a client on Win95 pushes "Disconnect" button, the ppp-server terminatesuncorrectly: the ppp process remains and, what is the most important, terminal for ppp-client remains open ( Command ps -ax | grep tty displays: .1679 ?? IW 0:10.01 /usr/libexec/getty std.9600 ttyd1 ). As a result of this, a client on Win95 can not get connected to FreeBSD again. Any suggestions on this problem would be highly appriciated. Thank you. ---------------------------------- E-Mail: Yury V. Savin <msav@kari.ru> Date: 05/23/97 Time: 16:33:30 This message was sent by XF-Mail ----------------------------------
