I've been using FreeBSD as desktops, both at home and on my work laptop,
for the past 5 months and don't have any complaints.  I'm certainly having
a much better experience with it than I had as a Sysadmin in a dot-bomb
where we had Linux on the desktop.

(Of course, I don't make heavy use of office apps -- I tend to use irc,
mozilla and vi+gcc mostly)
