Me too. What the heck?

Sun's state purpose for doing this was two-fold: to get (and keep)
people educated in Solaris, and to make sure price isn't a reason
to not make freeware (including open source software) available for
Solaris. For instance, David Green-Seed can now make his FreeBSD
CDplayer available for Solaris. (He ported it to Linux after I
mailed him a free OpenLinux Lite CD-ROM.) I'm *certain* it won't
convince him to move his primary development efforts from FreeBSD
to Slowlaris, but it might convince him to port. ;^)
