Maybe they swapped the labels on the chips too. :-) Seriously, that's really strange. I have all variety of machines hooked up to my Belkin OmniView, including FreeBSD (-current and -stable, i386 and Alpha), Linux, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Tru64, NT, and Win2k, and I don't see any major problems, even using the mouse (no-name 2-button). There is only one thing that drives my the KVM out of its mind: powering down the Alpha. As soon as I do that, the KVM is totally hosed. Even invoking its so-called "reset" function (pressing both selector buttons simultaneously) doesn't help. As soon as I reboot any machine (even the Alpha) that's connected to the KVM, it's OK again.
