Felipe, while looking at your dmesg, yes, I think you're experiencing a ht1000 related problem (unfortunately I've never seen such a controller and have zero experience with it). My limited memory tells me, the controller tries a DMA transfer (very long blocks or too fast, I can't remember the outcome of the analysis) and the driver or controller ends up in loosing data. A discussion about problems like these can be found in the archives (around 2007-12 / 2008-01). I've already emailed Soeren for your problem and I hope he has can share some deep insights on this particular problem with us. > I tried fresh install (minimum distribution set) with i386 and amd64 arch. If you want, I can install again (i386 or amd64). If you already made sure, you've got a fresh install on your disk and no old / wrong ARCH binaries are used, I don't think it will buy us anything if you try to reinstall again. Volker
