I *just* got off the phone with one of the J2SE managers, and we just
canceled the BSD BOF at JavaOne.  That shold give you a good idea on how
soon I think this is going to get resolved.

Doubtful.  The issue is one of resources more than anything else.  BSDi
promised some, then forgot for a very long time until a former employer
picked up the ball.  This employee has subsuquently been laid off, so
anytime we start getting any momentum, we get the rull pulled out from
under us.

I'm beginning to think the whole project is cursed or something...
