This assumes that BSD can execute *all* Linux code, which is not 
necessarily true.

Just to complicate things, isn't there an ability to run code from other 
Unix platforms on BSD?  I saw an article on running Foxpro for Unix (a 
SCO executable, apparently) on FreeBSD.
