Has anyone tried to compile the alpha `userland' bits lately? I tried this
morning on an Alphastation 600 at work (running NetBSD-current) and failed
miserably. I eventually got it through to compiling the libraries, but ran
into a problem in lib/libc/gen/nlist.c, which assumes Elf32, which doesn't
quite work on the Alpha. I'm assuming that all that needs to be done is
replace Elf32 with Elf64, but are there any other gotchas out there? Has
anyone tried this of late? Judging by the problems I ran into, I don't think
so :)

Thanks,

Gary
