The last thing I would consider myself is an "old guard" unix admin, I've
only been any sort of admin for about 4 years. However, the ability to log
in (via SSH) to a remote server and use vi to change a server's configuration
without having to enable a set of web CGI scripts with root access is great.
I for one don't 100% trust web-based configuration tools for remote
servers. - On the other hand, I don't use "vi" to add users, I use the "pw"
command.
