Hrm, isn't i810 the integrated video?

This looks suspiciously like a misconfiguration.  Is the word
"start" by itself in your .xinitrc, by chance?

I'd be kind of interested myself; had a similar issue with
an older box (810 chipset) the other day, which I worked around
by switching to the VESA driver in xorg.conf ....
