You are right, but that doesnt mean we cant speak about the problem and ask
if there are other people seeing it and maybe willing to help fixing it.
That is not equal to forcing anyone to do anything, but rather in a spirit
of open source volunteering and at the end it doesnt harm anyone, even if
there's no good result out of it.

If I wouldnt care about FreeBSD and ports state and I wouldnt want to help
with that, I would have not wrote this message in first place. Yes, I would
love to help.

At what point? Are there any plans, someone said he's working on it, are
there any decisions? I am not trying to attack your statement, but simply
get some information about the current state of things.
